Having recently launched its own microinverter, dubbed ‘Micro Replus,’ PV manufacturer, ReneSola said it had obtained certification to sell the product in 7 countries.

The Company expects Micro Replus to receive certifications, including grid standard certification in a further 11 European countries by August this year.

Countries in which the company has so far gained certification include the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Denmark.

Xianshou Li, ReneSola's chief executive officer, said, "These certifications are key to expanding our downstream business in international markets like Europe, Australia and the United States. Microinverters can significantly increase the performance of an entire PV system by enabling panels to operate independently, eliminating the "Christmas light effect" experienced with traditional inverters when the lowest performing module determines the performance of the entire series. We plan to capitalize on our quality-certified inverters to provide households and large-scale PV systems worldwide with smart renewable energy solutions."

ReneSola also said that it expected to sell 50,000 Micro Replus microinverters worldwide in the third quarter of 2013.
